FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER

Electrical Mechanical Commercial Truck & Bus Wash Equipment

Drive Through Carwash Equipment - Reside within the Southeast & London

About the Role

We are a European market leader in designing, manufacturing, and maintaining vehicle wash solutions. We are seeking Field Service Engineers for our Commercial Vehicle Wash Equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Service, maintain, and repair commercial truck and bus wash equipment at customer sites, including bus stations, distribution centres, and truck dealerships.
  • Perform planned maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
  • Record all site visits accurately.
  • Maintain van parts stock.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers.
Candidate Skills & Experience
  • Experience with multimeters.
  • Electrical knowledge, problem-solving, and fault-finding skills.
  • Ideally, knowledge of three-phase systems (training provided).
  • Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Previous field-based experience.
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving license.
Training and Working Hours

Full product training will be provided. Working hours are Monday to Friday, with travel starting at 8 am and returning home before 6 pm.

Remuneration and Benefits

Package circa £39,000 to £44,000, based on:

  • Starting salary of £33,000 - £36,000 (negotiable based on experience).
  • £1500 London allowance where applicable.
  • Additional £6000 for working one weekend per month.
  • Mobile phone and company tablet provided.
  • Tools and uniform supplied.
  • Company vehicle with private use option.
  • Fuel card and corporate credit card.
  • Company pension scheme.
