Field Engineer – Crushing & Screening Equipment

Location: Nationwide Travel (Field-Based)

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: £25 per hour DOE + Overtime + Company Vehicle + Benefits

Holt Recruitment is working with an established company in the crushing and screening machinery sector to appoint a Technical Expert. This role is field-based with nationwide travel across mainland Britain, supporting service operations and leading technical expertise across their mobile machinery range, specifically including Keestrack equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Travel to customer sites to service, maintain, and optimise crushing and screening machinery.
  2. Oversee preparation and pre-delivery inspections of new machines at the Barnsley PDI centre.
  3. Provide technical phone support to customers and field service engineers.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams to support diagnostics, parts ordering, and documentation.
  5. Lead technical development of the crushing and screening field service team.
Experience & Knowledge:
  • Previous experience in a similar field-based role, ideally working on crushers, screens, and stackers.
  • Additional knowledge of shredders, trommels, conveyors, and heavy plant (loaders, excavators, waste handlers) is advantageous.
  • Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics.
  • Strong IT and communication skills.
Requirements:
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
  • Quarry Passport and/or Passport to Safety (desirable).
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when required.
  • Self-motivated, team player, and able to represent the company professionally on-site.
