Our client is seeking a skilled Field Engineer (CCTV, PA, Access Control) to join a growing team of Engineers supporting a high profile maintenance Contract covering railway station maintenance contract based in the South Wales Region.

Our client is seeking a skilled Field Engineer (CCTV, PA, Access Control) to join a growing team of Engineers supporting a high profile maintenance Contract covering railway station maintenance contract based in the South Wales Region.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance on various communication systems
  • Handle call-outs and be available for on-call duties
  • Fault-finding
  • Maintain and install analogue and IP networked communications systems, including CCTV, CAT5/CAT6, display screens, and Public Address Systems


Job Requirements:

  • You should be based in the South Wales areas
  • Background ideally in CCTV, Fire & Security, SISS, NVRs, VSS, Public Address Systems, display screens/CIS (analogue and digital), data networks, fibre, copper, CATV/CAT6
  • Experience in maintenance or installation of communications systems and infrastructure
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Previous railway experience is an advantage but not essential
  • Willingness to undergo a Railway Medical and Drug & Alcohol testing, as well as a DBS check
