Job summary

Telent Technology Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support our Highways Division. The role covers a wide territory and requires travel, including overnight stays, with flexible days and nights as contract needs dictate.

You will perform electrical maintenance on the National Highways network, conduct planned and reactive works, and ensure all tasks are documented and signed off.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition or equivalent electrical qualification.
• Ability to travel and stay away overnight as required.
• Experience with electrical maintenance and risk assessments.
• Ability to work outdoors on motorways and major trunk roads.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance duties for the National Highways communications network.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance of transmission stations and roadside electrical infrastructure.
• Respond to proactive maintenance needs and reactive faults.
• Complete all relevant documentation and sign-off.
• Maintain and develop customer relationships with professionalism at all times.
• Monitor progress and report issues to line management.
