Job summary

Barron McCann in Dundee is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for a field-based role delivering electrical installations, inspections, testing and repairs across customer sites in the UK. You will work on commercial and industrial projects, including EV charging infrastructure, with autonomy and a strong emphasis on safety, quality and customer service.

A UK driving licence and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial/industrial electrical installations
• Knowledge of three-phase LV systems and equipment
• Experience installing/terminating large power cables (SWA/AWA)
• Competency with electrical testing equipment
• Strong knowledge of UK electrical regulations and safe practices

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installations, inspections, testing, maintenance and repairs
• Install, commission and maintain EV charging equipment
• Install and terminate LV power and control cabling
• Install cable containment, ducting and infrastructure
• Ensure work complies with BS7671 and 18th Edition regulations
