Job description

We are currently recruiting a Field Delivery Coordinator to work within our London team. You will be responsible for understanding resource requirements and constraints to effectively prioritize our resources to support the demands of the field engineers' work.

This role carries a high level of responsibility and requires an organized individual who can plan efficiently, engage well within the team, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.

What you will be doing as a Field Delivery Coordinator
  1. Collaborate with Schedulers across the area to develop resilient processes across all workstreams/projects.
  2. Draft procedures and guidelines as reference points once agreed upon.
  3. Engage with counterparts to assess workload and requirements, prioritizing jobs both planned and reactive.
  4. Plan and allocate collection and delivery tasks to Support Drivers via Salesforce, considering their skills and geography.
  5. Prepare jobs for works (SLG, cone offs, letter drops) using Salesforce to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  6. Schedule collections and site clears to avoid penalties and permit fines.
  7. Ensure Support Drivers maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Thames Water’s Health & Safety standards.
  8. Manage and prioritize Support Drivers’ work stacks to meet priority jobs (2-hour/4-hour).
  9. Provide daily updates on resource utilization and completed jobs to maintain service commitments.
  10. Review weekend forecasts to plan resources effectively.

The role is based in Kentish Town, NW5, with travel to other depots (e.g., E5, SE2) as needed. Hours are 45 per week, Monday to Friday, 7am–5pm.

  • Strong organizational skills and understanding of work management processes and systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail, scheduling, and planning skills.
  • Proficiency with business-critical systems such as Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A driving license is preferred.
