Job summary

Alexander James Recruiting is seeking a Dealer Manager for our client in the material handling industry to work in a field based role across the North of England. You will build and develop relationships with dealers, assist with business plans, quotations, pricing and technical support for forklift products.

The role requires a highly commercial mindset, travel across the Midlands or North of England, and the ability to implement sales strategies, attend trade shows, and represent a global OEM

Qualifications

• Experience in material handling sector and dealer networks.
• Strong commercial mindset and ability to build business plans.
• Willing to travel in Midlands or North of England.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop relationships with material handling dealers across the North of England.
• Assist the forklift dealer’s with their business plans and strategies to include quotation, pricing and technical support for forklift products.
• Coordinate, report and monitor marketing and sales support for the network.
• Visit dealer site’s to assist with requirements and continue to develop dealer relationships.
• Attend trade shows, customer events, and OEM marketing campaigns as a brand ambassador.
