Job summary

CloudFactory is seeking a dedicated Data Capture Technician to operate reality capture equipment at construction sites on a part-time basis. The role emphasizes meticulous data collection, safety on active sites, and collaboration with the Project Team Lead to meet project briefs.

You will work one full day per week (Friday), wear PPE, and adapt to varying weather conditions while using smartphones/tablets to record data. CSCS training can be provided; boots reimbursement is available.

Qualifications

• Willing to work at least one full day per week (Friday)
• Comfortable on active construction sites and able to follow safety requirements
• Able to walk 20,000+ steps per day and perform light physical activities
• Willing to wear PPE and work in various weather conditions
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions
• Experience with smartphones/tablets for data capture
• Background in Construction, Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Site Inspections, Photography, or Reality Capture preferred
• CSCS Card required; training provided if not certified
• Steel-toed boots mandatory; boot reimbursement included
• On-site data capture with strict accuracy and safety compliance

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality site data using 360° cameras and other capture equipment across active sites.
• Document site progress by collecting visual data for project tracking and AI solutions.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE at all times.
• Work with Project Team Lead to meet project requirements and adapt to conditions.
• Handle and maintain equipment, ensuring data meets quality standards.
• Follow detailed instructions and complete data capture tasks accurately and consistently
