Job summary

CloudFactory is seeking a dedicated Data Capture Technician to operate reality capture equipment on active construction sites. This part-time role requires one day per week, with daytime hours, and involves capturing comprehensive data using 360° cameras and related gear in diverse environments.

You will work closely with the Project Team, follow safety rules, wear PPE, and maintain data quality across sites.

Qualifications

• Availability to work at least one full day per week.
• Comfortable on active construction sites with safety rules.
• Able to walk 20,000+ steps per day.
• Willing to wear PPE and work in various weather conditions.
• Positive, reliable, and team-focused.
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to work in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Comfortable using smartphones/tablets to capture data.
• Previous fieldwork is an advantage.
• Background in Construction, Surveying, Civil Eng, Architecture, Site Inspections, Photography, or Reality Capture preferred.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality site data using 360° cameras and other data capture equipment across active construction sites.
• Document site progress by collecting visual data to support project tracking and AI-powered solutions.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE at all times.
• Work with Project Team to meet requirements and adapt to changing conditions.
• Handle and maintain equipment, ensuring data meets quality standards.
• Follow detailed instructions and complete data capture tasks accurately.
