Job Description:

As a Field Control Systems Engineer, you will join our UK Lifecycle Services group supporting customers through upgrades, application deployments, and maintenance activities on their DeltaV DCS/SIS systems.

You will primarily engage with customers within a region of the UK, including offshore installations, to build relationships and become a trusted adviser.

Responsibilities:

• Project Execution: Responsible for design, installation, and commissioning of projects.
• Customer Support: Assist customers in resolving product service and application issues, coordinating support from the Emerson Global Support Centre when needed.
• Sales Support: Help with proposal estimates, site surveys, product demonstrations, and guidance in product application and after-sales service. Proactively identify service and product opportunities.
• Field Service: Support LTSA contract activities, including system maintenance, DeltaV system administration, and health checks. Be available for on-call emergency response.
• Safety Systems: Perform maintenance and repairs on DeltaV systems.

Candidate Profile:

You are proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage your own time. You have experience with computer, network, and control system architectures, including virtualization. Knowledge of DeltaV products or similar DCS systems is essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact confidently with customers are required. Some knowledge of control system configuration, graphic modifications, and third-party interfaces like OPC, Modbus, and Profibus is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Willingness to travel
• Proficiency in English, as most client interactions are in English
