Job summary
Veriflo Limted is seeking a field-based Commissioning Specialist to deliver end-to-end commissioning on clean water mains from 80mm to 1000mm. You will work with the Field Supervisor and Project Manager to ensure safe, compliant project delivery on site.
The role requires experience in commissioning, pressure testing, and chlorination/dechlorination, with relevant certifications and a full UK driving licence. Training is provided where required.
Qualifications
- Experience in a commissioning role with pressure testing, chlorination and dechlorination.
- Industry certifications such as EUSR Water Hygiene, SHEA Water, Hydrostatic Pressure Testing, NRSWA, Confined Space, CSCS/SSSTS/SMSTS.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility for on-site field work.
Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end commissioning works on clean water mains (80mm to 1000mm).
- Ensure compliance with HSE, safety and environmental standards.
- Conduct site surveys, inspections and briefings for safe delivery.
- Liaise with clients, contractors and suppliers to maintain clear communication.
- Monitor dosing equipment performance (flow, pressure, turbidity, chlorine levels).
- Troubleshoot commissioning issues to protect water quality and network integrity.
- Mentor technicians and support other workstreams; occasional extended or short-notice shifts.
