Job summary

Honeywell Midlands is seeking a Combustion Engineer to lead on-site start-ups, commissioning and scheduled maintenance at customer sites across the region and UK. You’ll diagnose and resolve technical issues through practical problem-solving and troubleshooting, often working independently in the field.

Ideal candidates have combustion engineering experience with process gas or burners, knowledge of mechanical systems, and the ability to read P&IDs and electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• Experience in combustion engineering for process gas or burners.
• Ability to read P&IDs and electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and gas safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site start-ups, commissioning, maintenance at customer sites.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues through troubleshooting.
• Prepare site visit reports for audits and compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement in field services and product development.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve delivery and installation issues.
• Adhere to Health and Safety policies and promote a safe work environment.
