Job summary

Calibre Search is seeking an experienced Chiller & HVAC Engineer to service, maintain and commission chillers, HVAC equipment and temperature control systems across the Basingstoke region and surrounding areas.

The role covers planned maintenance, fault finding, repairs and supporting temporary cooling installations on diverse commercial and industrial sites, with a 45-hour week and door-to-door travel paid.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and maintaining chillers, HVAC or commercial refrigeration equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience commissioning commercial cooling systems.
• Knowledge of planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC and cooling equipment.
• Responding to breakdowns and carrying out mechanical and electrical fault finding.
• Servicing, repairing and commissioning chillers, air conditioning and temperature control equipment.
• Supporting the installation, commissioning and removal of temporary cooling and heating solutions.
• Preparing and inspecting equipment to ensure fleet readiness.
• Completing service reports and technical documentation.
• Providing technical support and guidance to fellow engineers when required.
• Delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest health and safety standards.
