The position demands frontline supervision, risk assessments, and rota planning, with flexible full-time hours, and travel across England as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year as a Field Supervisor in the UK care sector; domiciliary care experience is desirable.
- Knowledge of CQC standards, regulations and safeguarding procedures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial risk and needs assessments in homes or hospital/residential settings.
- Carry out care reviews with clients and families; ensure person-centred care plans.
- Perform care quality audits; gather client feedback and follow up on actions.
- Provide supervision and support to frontline Care Assistants; conduct spot checks and assessments.
- Assist onboarding and ongoing staff development; shadow new carers.
- Monitor CQC compliance; support inspections and audits.
- Plan rotas with Care Coordinators and participate in on-call rota.
- Engage in multi-disciplinary reviews and maintain relationships with service users and teams.
- Ensure accurate documentation in care management systems; maintain records.
