What does a Field Care Supervisor do?
35 or 40 hours per week (salary range 25150-28750)
Responsibilities
- Supporting young and older clients in their own homes, focusing on their support needs, physical and mental wellbeing to achieve a positive outcome in their daily lives.
- Support the Operations Manager in all aspects of Eden Care at Home operations, whilst maintaining positive client practice, in keeping with the aims and objectives of the company.
- Assist with the process of development, implementation, and review of service policy, procedure and good practice.
- Ensure that carers conduct themselves within the guidelines of the company in line with Policy documents and support plans and risk assessment.
- React in emergency situations quickly and efficiently, and to ensure the wellbeing of the clients and others.
- You will be confident in complying with all regulatory requirements, i.e., Health and Safety, COSHH, RIDDOR and Accident Reporting.
- Complete Train the Trainer to deliver additional and mandatory training where required.
- Delegate tasks to the care staff and co-ordinate the daily routines of the company and participate in tasks delegated by the Operations Manager and senior managers. Supervision, Appraisal, Spot Checks.
- You will be confident with support plans and risk assessments and be able to facilitate a thorough handover to Live In carers and management regarding the individual concerned in a positive, structured, and professional manner.
