Job summary

McCarthy & Stone is seeking a Field Care Supervisor to oversee personal care services for Homeowners across Nottinghamshire. You will supervise a team of Mobile Care & Support Assistants, ensure services meet individual needs, and work with the Registered Care Manager to maintain compliance with care regulations.

You will help create personalized care plans, monitor quality and safety, deliver excellent service, and assist with administrative tasks while supporting development and safeguarding

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years supervisory care experience in a community, field based or home care setting.
• Must hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) or preferably hold a L3 or be willing to work towards it.
• Excellent understanding of the elderly care sector and independent living in later life.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Care Manager with the growth, management and delivery of care services across the allocated geographical area.
• Ensure services are safe, effective, high quality and compliant with CQC regulations, company policies and best practice.
• Supervise, support and develop a team of Mobile Care Assistants, including training oversight, staff reviews, spot checks, interviewing, onboarding and induction.
• Work closely with Care Compliance, Care Co-ordination and Care Performance teams to maintain best practice and keep care administration systems accurate and up to date.
• Deliver excellent service to Homeowners, encourage reviews and feedback, and attend development meetings to discuss and promote available services.
• Complete administrative tasks and support the production of management information.
• Support the team in identifying and reporting safeguarding concerns to the appropriate authorities and the in-house compliance team.
• Provide short-notice cover for care calls when required, including staff sickness or annual leave.

Salary: £29,000 pa plus the choice of a company car / or car allowance, with mileage.

Location: Travelacross parts of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

Hours: 37 per week,that will include alternate weekends

About the Role: As a Field Care Supervisor, your role will involve overseeing and managing personal care services for Homeowners, ensuring that our care provision is tailored to their individual needs and preferences. What We’re Looking For:
