Job Description

What you’ll do

The role of the Field Care Supervisor is to support the delivery of high-quality care support services by carrying out various functions in the field, including assessing and reviewing individual services, and providing practical supervision, instruction, and support to care workers.

Working with Care Coordinators, you'll support the planning of effective care worker rotas, considering the specific needs of each individual and the skills of the workers. You will conduct regular reviews of services, including needs and risk assessments, participate in multidisciplinary reviews, shadow new care workers, and evaluate care worker practice through on-site observations.

Field Care Supervisors primarily work in the community but will also have administrative duties in the office.

Qualifications

What you need

Experience in conducting initial risk and needs assessments in clients' homes or other settings like hospitals or care homes is required. You should be able to work collaboratively with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and others to ensure seamless, holistic care support.
