Job summary

E.ON Control Solutions Ltd is seeking an on-site BMS maintenance engineer to support multiple UK sites including Camberley, Bury, Leeds, and London. You will perform planned preventative maintenance, commissioning of small works and reactive calls, while sharing technical knowledge with the team.

You may supervise junior engineers, ensure safety standards, and deliver detailed site reports with recommendations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates teamwork with good communication and organisational skills.
• Strong commercial and technical awareness relevant to BMS/Controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to document clearly.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive call-outs on BMS systems.
• Supervise junior engineers on site and share technical knowledge.
• Create and maintain backups of software and strategy files for sites under service agreements.
• Update server with backups and maintain site LAN maps where applicable.
• Design and implement PPM planners and ensure all commissioning activities meet specifications.
• Attend callouts and breakdowns per SLA and provide daily updates to the line manager.
• Produce site reports detailing work carried out and recommendations.
• Build and maintain strong client relations and handover to client on smaller projects.
• Manage day-to-day supervision of subcontractors and enforce H&S on site.
• Prepare method statements and risk assessments; ensure ISO procedures are followed.
• Maintain project folders on the office server and ensure designs meet client specifications.
• Ensure procurement of correct controls equipment and create commissioning schedules and O&M docs.
