Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Field Biologist / Technical Consultant to join a well-established testing and certification company.

This is a field-based remote role offering excellent benefits and a salary up to £38,000 plus a £5,040 car allowance for a 37.5-hour work week.

As a Field Biologist / Technical Consultant, you will carry out inspections and audits across diverse facilities, produce detailed reports, and support service excellence.

You will be required to travel within London and the Home Counties.

Responsibilities include:

1. Preparing accurate photographic reports for clients.
2. Overseeing and mentoring new or junior employees.
3. Ensuring the timely delivery of reports in accordance with company guidelines.
4. Managing and scheduling assignments across multiple locations.
5. Promoting the organisation's range of services to support business growth.

Qualifications and experience:

1. Previous experience as a Field Biologist, Pest Technical Manager, Pest Technical Inspector, Pest Control Specialist, or similar role.
2. Hands-on pest control experience across various facility types.
3. RSPH Level 2 Award or Certificate in Pest Management.
4. BPCA Advanced Pest Technician & Certified Field Biologist.
5. Knowledge of pest biology, behaviour, and control methods, including rodents, birds, insects, etc.
6. Familiarity with pesticide storage, transport, application equipment, and protective gear.
