Job summary

Morgan Jones Recruitment is seeking a Trainee Fitter in Ramsgate to join the installation team. This field-based role offers full training and recognised qualifications.

You will work alongside experienced fitters, read technical drawings, and use hand and power tools safely on sites across London and the South East.

The package includes a competitive salary of £30,900 per annum and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• CSCS card and full UK driving licence required.
• Experience in construction, installation or related environments is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures.
• Strong practical skills and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation projects on customer sites.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and site information.
• Safely use hand and power tools.
• Complete work to high quality and safety standards.
• Carry out quality inspections of completed work.
• Report site issues and installation challenges.
• Complete end-of-shift and progress reports.
• Work closely with colleagues, project teams and customers.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and site presentation.
• Drive company vehicles when required.
