Overview

As a Lead Associate, you will support the southern UK area by assisting in Technician cover for holidays and sickness, as well as supporting the Associate Manager on localized projects, which may be planned or at short notice. You will travel to customer sites to check stock/inventory, create orders for replenishment, review VMI items, and build rapport with customers. You will also manage your workload and stay away when covering or on projects.

Responsibilities
  • Perform daily stock scanning and ensure VMI/Vending areas are properly supplied.
  • Train new Field Technicians and review technician performance.
  • Set up new VMI systems and review Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Conduct site audits and ensure quality and contamination checks.
  • Manage travel arrangements and hotel bookings.
  • Process customer orders via GPRS scanner and ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain site standards, cleanliness, and infrastructure.
  • Report issues with stock or supply to relevant managers.
  • Independently set up JIT systems.
  • Use Windows OS, iOS, and Microsoft Excel proficiently.
  • Travel and stay away at short notice as required.
Job Requirements
  • Full UK driving license is essential; ability to drive vehicles up to 3.5 tons.
  • Forklift certification is a plus but not essential.
  • Ability to multi-task and use hand tools and heavy machinery.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a professional approach with customers.
