Job summary
Zoom Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of an established renewable energy business for a Field-Based Service & Maintenance Engineer in London & South East. You will service heat pumps, MVHR and cooling systems, diagnose faults, and keep detailed service records while engaging with customers with professionalism and care.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years with heat pump systems, strong electrical/plumbing skills, MVHR experience, and relevant training such as F-Gas or NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing &
Qualifications
- At least 2 years' experience servicing and maintaining heat pump systems.
- Strong electrical and plumbing knowledge; 4+ years preferred.
- Experience with MVHR systems is advantageous.
- F-Gas, electrical certifications or NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing & Heating preferred.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out scheduled servicing and maintenance of heat pumps, MVHR units, fan coil units and cooling systems.
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs across electrical and plumbing components.
- Conducting system health checks and recommending improvements to optimise performance.
- Maintaining accurate service records using the company's service management software.
- Explaining technical issues and recommendations clearly to customers.
- Identifying opportunities for upgrades, service plans and additional works.
- Providing technical feedback to design and installation teams to support continuous improvement.
- Managing your own diary and ensuring appointments are completed efficiently.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship, professionalism and customer service.
