Job summary

Routes Healthcare is seeking a Regional Recruiter - Field-Based, Northern England. You will visit new service areas, map the local job market, and build recruitment pipelines from scratch to support live contracts. This 6-month contract offers up to £30,000 per annum plus travel allowances.

You’ll work from Rochdale and travel to nearby towns, reporting to the Head of Recruitment. A full UK driving licence and access to your own car are required, with flexibility to travel and work from the

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ recruitment experience in a similar role – care sector or another hard-to-fill, high-volume field.
• A genuine self-starter who can mobilise a recruitment campaign from scratch.
• Confidence talking to anyone from Jobcentre Plus to college principals.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own car – field-based role requiring travel.
• Live within commutable distance of Rochdale head office.

Responsibilities

• Visiting new service areas to understand the local market first-hand and identify competitors, pay, and candidate sourcing.
• Building geography-specific recruitment strategies for hard-to-fill areas from advertising to community outreach.
• Developing relationships with Jobcentre Plus, colleges, training providers, and community groups.
• Running attraction campaigns and building candidate pipelines, then handing applicants to the central team for screening and compliance.
• Reporting market intelligence and pipeline progress to Head of Recruitment.
