Job summary

Vertage is seeking a Recruitment Business Partner to join a friendly team supporting a major client in facilities management and construction. This permanent role involves field-based travel across the UK, with hybrid working from home and an office near you.

You will link the client, internal delivery teams and external supply partners, triaging vacancies, managing compliance and producing MI for the client. 37.5 hours per week, car allowance benefits, and flexible location.

Qualifications

• Experience in MSP or contingent workforce recruitment.
• Confident communicator with gravitas, able to build trust at all levels.
• Solutions‑focused mindset, able to manage multiple priorities and sell ideas.
• Solid grasp of compliance and governance.
• Patient, caring and client/candidate focused.
• Organised with strong attention to detail and good IT skills.
• Must be able to travel across the UK and hold a valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Triaging vacancies to the right internal delivery teams and monitoring each one through its full life cycle.
• Managing the supply chain and external supply partners, briefing them and monitoring performance.
• Building relationships with hiring managers and client stakeholders, offering recruitment advice and market insight.
• Keeping clients and candidates informed throughout the process.
• Managing compliance and ensuring governance requirements are met.
• Taking vacancy briefings and producing accurate management information for the client.
• Representing the team at stakeholder meetings and workshops on site across the UK.
• Collaborating with sourcing and talent attraction to deliver quality shortlists and smooth offers/onboarding.
• Working within a small team and covering for each other.
• Hybrid role: based near an office, with home-working and regular UK travel.
