Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to lead end-to-end installation rollouts across council sites in the UK. You will oversee configuration and commissioning of camera units to meet local authority requirements and act as the technical point of contact for councils.

The role involves coordinating between installation partners and HQ, training partners, ensuring quality and uptime, and travelling regularly to sites across the UK to deliver projects on time.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience in technical delivery or field operations.
• Understanding of electrical systems and outdoor installations is a plus.
• Track record deploying and commissioning hardware or camera systems.
• Able to manage multiple projects and keep stakeholders informed.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end rollout of installations across council sites from kick-off to handover.

Requirements

• At least 5 years experience working with technical delivery or field operations, ideally in council, public-sector, or similarly complex environments.
• Understanding of electrical systems, outdoor installations, and pole/camera fixings would be a bonus.
• Track record of deploying and commissioning hardware or camera systems.
• Confident managing multiple projects at once and keeping everyone informed.
• Great communication skills - comfortable breaking down and explaining technical issues.
• Organised, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Full working proficiency English skills.
• UK driving licence is required to get between sites.
• Familiarity with CCTV or EV charging infrastructure would be a bonus.
• Experience with UK local authorities, the public sector, or B2G would be a bonus.
