Job summary

BSI is seeking a Product Certification Auditor to cover field-based assignments across London, Home Counties, and nationwide travel. You will assess products, prepare reports, and guide corrective actions with clients while maintaining strong partnerships and delivering high-quality service.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 4 years in product manufacturing quality, ISO 9001 knowledge, and a willingness to travel extensively—potential progression to Lead Assessor through a structured

Qualifications

• Experience auditing against quality standards, especially ISO 9001.
• Background in product manufacturing with quality emphasis.
• Lead Auditor 9001 qualification is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare assessment reports and convey findings with clear corrective actions.
• Recommend certificate actions and report per policy and timeframes.
• Maintain account responsibility and deliver excellent service.
• Lead assessment teams and ensure quality and client relations.
• Provide information to support services and keep client records up to date.
• Coach colleagues and support onboarding for new assessors.
• Plan workloads to maximise revenue and efficiency.
• Work through onboarding to reach Lead Assessor status.
• Demonstrate knowledge in audit practices and standardized assessments.
• Manage a client portfolio by location and contract needs.
• Schedule visits, plan assessments, travel, and report results.
