Job summary
Octane Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician to cover Crawley and surrounding areas. Role involves mobile servicing and repairs on light commercial vehicles, with a Level 3 qualification and a full UK driving licence.
Salary is £40,800 base plus a £2,400 annual bonus, with OTE up to £46,740 and overtime. Working hours are 8–6, Monday to Friday, with 1 in 4 Saturdays. Benefits include a company vehicle, pension and extensive training.
Qualifications
- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
- Experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic with hands-on servicing and repair skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence and right to work in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Carry out mobile servicing, maintenance, warranty work and recalls.
- Diagnose vehicle faults and complete repairs at customer locations.
- Work across a range of light commercial vehicles.
- Manage a pre-planned diary provided at least five days in advance.
- Maintain accurate job records and repair information.
- Use dedicated workshop support for more complex repairs when required.
