Job summary
Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Field Based) to cover Southeast England, including Watford, Chelmsford, Aylesbury and surrounding areas. You will perform routine inspections, planned and reactive maintenance, and assist contractors on site.
Full training over 3–6 months is provided, with a 1 in 5 call-out rota after training. The role offers a company vehicle, door-to-door pay, overtime, bonus, pension, private medical and life insurance.
Qualifications
- Experience in a field service, maintenance or engineering environment.
- Mechanical OR electrical bias.
- Strong practical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Comfortable working independently and travelling regularly.
- Experience in forecourt, water, telecoms, utilities or similar is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Field-based role covering Southeast England.
- Field maintenance: planned and reactive maintenance and routine inspections.
- Basic fault finding and minor repairs; support contractors on site.
- Participate in a call-out rota after training.
