Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Field Based HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to support the Dumbarton depot. You’ll maintain and repair chillers, AHUs and temperature control equipment, ensuring reliability and on-time availability for customers.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds, ONC Level 3 or equivalent engineering qualification is required.
• F-Gas certification with CITB Brazing qualification.
• Strong fault-finding skills and solid HVAC/temperature control knowledge.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC-based systems.
• Well organised, customer-focused and able to manage expectations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, troubleshoot and repair chillers, AHUs, pumps and air conditioning systems.
• Prepare equipment for hire and transfer, ensuring testing and compliance.
• Carry out depot servicing, assist with inventory and procurement to maintain stock.
• Uphold high safety, quality and service standards per QHSE procedures.
• Provide technical support and mentoring to colleagues and apprentices.
