Job summary

Global Fire and Security Systems in the North East of England is seeking a Field Based Service Engineer (Electrical) to service and maintain a range of fire and security systems across our coverage area. You will work on-site with customers, perform electrical testing, and complete essential documentation.

The role offers a competitive salary, door-to-door pay, overtime and on-call allowances, plus opportunities for training and progression within a respected, independent company.

Qualifications

• City and Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 qualification (preferred).
• IEE 18th Edition Regulations (preferred).
• FIA qualifications are advantageous.
• Experience with electrical fire life safety works.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Undertake electrical fire and security works in the field efficiently and safely.
• Carry out planned maintenance in line with the schedule.
• Report defects during service visits and complete documentation.
• Maintain vehicle and stock control and ensure logs are kept up to date.
