Purosearch Ltd. is recruiting on behalf of an established fire safety and compliance organisation to appoint a Fire Risk Assessor in Scotland.

The role offers a varied portfolio of commercial risk assessments across diverse properties and sectors. The Fire Risk Assessor will perform comprehensive assessments, identify hazards and non-compliance, and deliver clear reports with practical recommendations to enhance fire safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Fire Risk Assessment qualification or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Experience undertaking commercial fire risk assessments.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation and guidance.
• Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel throughout Scotland.

Responsibilities

• Carry out commercial fire risk assessments across a variety of premises.
• Identify fire hazards, risks and areas of non-compliance.
• Produce clear, accurate and detailed fire risk assessment reports.
• Provide clients with practical recommendations and guidance to improve fire safety.
• Review existing fire safety arrangements and control measures.
• Liaise with clients, building managers and other stakeholders to coordinate assessments.
• Manage your own diary and assessment workload to meet deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records and complete reports within agreed timescales.
• Keep up to date with relevant fire safety legislation, guidance and industry best practice.
