Job summary

HP4 Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a well‑established fire and life safety company to recruit a Fire Alarm Service Engineer for Tunbridge Wells and surrounding areas. This permanent, field‑based role offers ongoing training and a competitive package.

You will service, fault‑find and repair addressable, conventional and GENT fire alarm systems, ensuring BS 5839 compliance. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence essential.
• Previous experience as a Fire Alarm Service Engineer.
• Ideally 3+ years in the fire alarm industry.
• Certifications such as IPAF, CSCS/ECS, FIA or City & Guilds desirable.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintenance, fault-finding and repair of fire alarm systems.
• Work on addressable, conventional and GENT systems with training provided.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across commercial sites.
• Ensure works meet BS 5839 and current regulations.
• Maintain clear communication with customers and teams.
