Field-Based Electrical Engineer – Print & Packaging Machinery
Yorkshire or surrounding areas
Circa £20 per hour / £39,000 salary paid overtime company van benefits (time & a half weekdays/Saturdays, double time Sundays)

We’re representing a leading UK manufacturer and service partner for specialist print and packaging production equipment. With decades of heritage in designing, building, installing, and supporting industrial-scale machinery, they’re recognised as a go-to partner for high-spec production lines across the sector.

They’re now seeking an experienced Field-Based Electrical Engineer to join their close-knit, expert service team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Travelling to customer sites to install, decommission, service, and relocate large-scale print and packaging production machinery.
  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on complex production equipment.
  • Working closely with mechanical and controls specialists to deliver projects to a high standard.
  • Delivering exceptional service while representing a well-respected British engineering business.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience with industrial-scale print/packaging machinery – installation, commissioning, decommissioning, relocations.
Strong electrical background with relevant qualifications:

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation/Maintenance (or experience equivalent)
    Ability to read electrical schematics and work to high safety standards.
    Flexibility to travel across the UK and further afield when required (overnight stays as needed).
