Job summary

Unify is seeking an experienced Critical Power Service Engineer to join our Hampshire-based, field-facing team. You will service, maintain, test and repair generators, UPS systems and related equipment at customer sites, ensuring reliability and safety.

Travel across sites is a key part of the role, with ongoing training and career development. The ideal candidate has hands-on generator service experience, an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, strong diagnostic skills, and a customer-focused,

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience servicing, maintaining and fault-finding generators and critical power equipment.
• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds or equivalent qualification.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, test and repair generators, UPS systems and associated critical power equipment.
• Carry out fault-finding and diagnostics to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Conduct inspections, site surveys and load bank testing.
• Support the installation and commissioning of critical power equipment.
• Plan and supervise on-site works, ensuring all activities are completed safely and efficiently.
• Provide technical support to customers and colleagues when required.
• Complete accurate service reports and associated documentation.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
