The Work Shop Resourcing Ltd is partnering with a specialist healthcare equipment provider to recruit a Field Based Clinical Specialist in Leeds/Yorkshire. This role emphasizes pressure care and postural management, requiring clinical expertise to assess, demonstrate equipment and educate across healthcare settings.

Ideal candidates are Occupational Therapists or clinicians with related backgrounds, who can build relationships with healthcare professionals and work collaboratively with the sales

Qualifications

• Qualified Occupational Therapist preferred but other relevant clinical backgrounds also considered.
• Clinical experience in pressure care, seating, postural management or complex patient needs.
• Strong assessment, problem-solving and clinical reasoning skills.
• Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Able to build relationships with healthcare professionals.
• Commercially aware, with an interest in supporting a sales team.
• Organised, self-motivated and comfortable working in a field-based role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments relating to pressure care, seating and postural management.
• Support equipment trials, evaluations and clinical demonstrations.
• Deliver training and educational sessions to healthcare professionals.
• Build relationships with OTs, nurses, physiotherapists and multidisciplinary teams.

We are working with a specialist healthcare equipment provider seeking a Clinical Specialist, ideally an Occupational Therapist with a strong clinical background, to provide clinical expertise in pressure care and postural management.

The Clinical Specialist role involves supporting healthcare professionals with patient assessments, equipment demonstrations and education across a range of healthcare settings. This is a varied, field-based role combining clinical expertise, relationship building and professional education, with all customer meetings pre-scheduled.
