Job summary

Honeywell Technologies invites applications for a Field Service Engineer to support mission-critical process industries at customer sites across the North/North East of the UK. The role involves travelling to sites to supervise automation and safety systems, install, configure and upgrade control environments, and deliver first-line technical support.

The successful candidate will bring experience in automation, instrumentation or electrical systems, with familiarity in Experion PKS, TPS/TDC

Qualifications

• Experience in a field service engineering or related technical role.
• Understanding of automation control, instrumentation, electrical or electronic systems.
• Experience with automation software and safety systems is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, audit, configure, programme, install, commission, upgrade and migrate Honeywell Technologies control and safety systems (Experion PKS, TPS/TDC 3000).
• Diagnose and resolve issues across DCS hardware, software, I/O, control loops and field devices.
• Support Honeywell Technologies and third-party systems (LCN/UCN/PLC/SCADA/safety) as applicable.
• Provide first-response technical support and act as a key customer contact on sites.
• Build trusted customer relationships and identify service opportunities.
