Salary: £34,000 per annum + £250 monthly performance bonus

Looking for a field-based auditor job in the UK with regular travel and the opportunity to work independently? We're hiring experienced compliance auditors, site inspectors, or those from technical field operations with a solid understanding of health and safety regulations, field inspections, and quality assurance. This is a full-time permanent role ideal for those searching for:

Job Responsibilities – What You’ll Be Doing:
  1. Conduct Work in Progress (WIP) audits and Post-Completion (PC) inspections on various operational field sites.
  2. Identify and address non-compliance issues, ensuring all work meets regulatory standards and company guidelines.
  3. Provide technical support and audit feedback to field teams and supervisors.
  4. Log findings using digital auditing software like Certainty App or similar tools.
  5. Recommend quality improvements and lead on corrective actions.
  6. Carry out health and safety site checks, flag hazards, and report risks.
  7. Represent management in field-based audit discussions.
  8. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety-first attitudes, and regulatory compliance.
  9. Suggest training opportunities based on field audit insights.
Minimum Requirements:
  1. Previous experience in a field auditor, compliance officer, HSEQ auditor, QA/QC inspector, or site supervisor role.
  2. Knowledge of UK health & safety standards (HSE) and quality control procedures.
  3. Comfortable working across multiple UK sites with autonomy.
  4. Familiar with mobile reporting tools (Certainty, iAuditor, Site Audit Pro).
  5. Background in utilities, construction, telecoms, engineering, or infrastructure is highly desirable.
  6. Strong communication and organisational skills.
