Job summary

British Gas is seeking a Field Collections Assurance Manager to lead governance, quality assurance, risk and control across Field Collections. You will translate assurance outcomes into corrective actions, strengthen controls and maintain risk registers while engaging with Field Operations, Compliance, Safety and other functions.

The role drives improvements and regulatory compliance. You will design and maintain control documents, support customer outcomes, and provide senior-level reporting

Qualifications

• Strong operational knowledge of Field Collections.
• Detailed Revenue Protection and energy-theft knowledge.
• Experience in quality assurance, governance, compliance or controls.
• Understanding of customer, regulatory and safety risks in field activity.
• Experience developing or governing quality and control frameworks.
• Ability to interpret management information and conduct root-cause analysis.
• Experience maintaining risk registers and assurance actions.

Responsibilities

• Use Quality Assurance feedback to support governance across Field Collections workstreams.
• Identify, assess and monitor operational, customer, regulatory and safety risks and maintain risk registers.
• Design, maintain and monitor preventive, detective and corrective controls.
• Analyze quality outcomes and management information to identify trends and risks.
• Translate risks into clear actions with owners and timescales; monitor closure and improvements.
• Oversee field activity to validate outcomes and ensure regulatory requirements are met.
• Develop and govern working instructions, quality frameworks and guidance.
• Act as escalation point for quality concerns and governance issues; build cross-functional relationships.
