Job Summary

As a Field Application Scientist (FAS) Manager/Director, you will support our company goals and customer needs. You will lead the FAS team to provide technical support related to ACROBiosystems products, primarily supporting our GMP product lines. Your responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries, offering technical solutions, and building strong customer relationships.

Essential Functions

  • Technical Support and Solutions: Collaborate with cross-department teams to develop product solutions, application notes, and support plans. Provide comprehensive technical solutions to meet customer needs and engage in key account development and maintenance.
  • Customer Interaction: Serve as the point of contact for technical inquiries via email, phone, and visits. Maintain and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Documentation and Training: Summarize technical information, draft technical tips and guides, update technical content on the company's website and knowledge databases, and lead product training sessions.
  • Presentation and Networking: Present product and technical information at trade shows and during customer visits to promote our products and stay informed on industry trends.
  • Travel: Travel domestically (and occasionally internationally) approximately 30% of the time for customer meetings, trade shows, and training.
  • Other Responsibilities: Participate in additional projects or responsibilities as needed.

Minimum Qualifications – Education and Experience

  • M.S. or PhD in immunology, protein chemistry, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of laboratory experience in molecular and cell biology, immunoassay, protein chemistry, or related bioassay techniques.
  • At least 4 years of industry experience related to large-scale production and GMP processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in therapeutic development, clinical research, or diagnostics is a plus.
  • Knowledge of quality control and production process development is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese.

Salary Range: $100,000 to $130,000 plus bonus.
