Position: Field Account Manager
Contract Type: Permanent / Full-time
Location: Field Based - Milton Keynes area
Hours: 37.5 per week / Monday to Friday

About the role

Responsible for the maintenance and growth of a portfolio of customers within a set geographical location. Being fully compliant with all internal systems and maintain all customer records within our CRM.

Responsibilities
  • Accountable for the performance of a portfolio of customers to achieve quarterly targets
  • Maintain all portfolio customers, ensuring they continue to trade with DHL eCommerce UK through regular review meetings
  • Increase share of wallet from existing customer base through the development of all product lines – Domestic, International and Returns
  • Ensure all customer contact is logged and updated within our Salesforce CRM system, including customer calls, visits, opportunities and at-risk accounts
  • Work alongside our other sales channels to perform thorough handovers when required
  • Support with yield management projects to deliver improved customer margin (e.g., GPI and margin improvements)
  • Provide timely and accurate customer revenue and volume forecasts
  • Ensure customers adhere to agreed volume levels and take a proactive approach to monitoring
  • Maintain strong relationships with all departments within DHL eCommerce UK
Qualifications
  • Strong presentation skills
  • The ability to work under pressure and achieve set deadlines
  • Good analytical skills, specifically in the pre-processing of data
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Competency in using our operating systems
  • Fully competent with our IT systems and product offering
  • A good understanding of all DHL eCommerce UK Health and Safety requirements
  • A full UK Driving Licence
  • Self-motivation with proven ability to manage customers and opportunities within a large geographical area
