Title: Seeking a Senior QS with Expert FIDIC Knowledge for Data Centre Sector

Introductory paragraph:
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor (QS) who has expert knowledge in the use of FIDIC contracts. Our client is a leading company operating within the data centre sector, offering hybrid work opportunities between home and Europe.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Quantity Surveying
- MRICS chartered status preferred but not essential
- Proven experience working as a quantity surveyor on large-scale construction projects

Skills:

Expertise in using FIDIC Contracts including Red Book, Yellow Book, Silver book.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal to liaise with clients/contractors/sub-contractors etc.
Strong analytical abilities to assess financial reports & projections alongside contractual obligations


Responsibilities Include:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of project costs from initial estimates through final accounts; preparing detailed documentation such as bills of quantities; evaluating tenders & change orders whilst ensuring compliance throughout various stages. The role also requires negotiation capabilities when dealing with contractors along providing guidance during dispute resolution processes.


Rate Offered: £550/day min plus all expenses covered
