Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking an experienced Fidessa developer for the Equities Cash Technology group in London. You will integrate Fidessa systems into the bank's tech stack, upgrade components, and collaborate with BAs/PMs to meet business and regulatory needs.

The role requires 3+ years of Fidessa server-side development, strong scripting in TCL/Python/Unix shell, and knowledge of FIX, databases (Sybase, MS SQL Server), and messaging (AMPS, IBM MQ, Tibco EMS).

Qualifications

This role is for an experienced Fidessa developer in the Equities Cash Technology organization. The group supports institutional and retail equities trading desks and is responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting multiple production trading applications built on the Fidessa trading platform. A successful candidate must have prior hands‑on Fidessa implementation experience, in‑depth knowledge of the Fidessa architecture, frameworks, and products, and proven track record performing product upgrades with complex onsite customizations. Hands‑on FTW implementation experience is a strong plus.
