Job summary

Gravitas Group is seeking a Senior FIX Connectivity Specialist to manage client onboarding, support and development of electronic trading connectivity. You will own FIX onboarding from initial contact to live setup, provide production support for electronic trading platforms, and drive automation with scripting.

The role requires strong stakeholder management across internal teams, clients and vendors, and the ability to handle multiple onboardings and issues autonomously in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Experience as FIX protocol SME in trading or investment banking
• Experience managing the full client onboarding lifecycle from initial contact to live setup
• Experience providing production support on electronic trading platforms
• Strong problem solving for bespoke client requirements
• Ability to manage multiple onboardings and issues concurrently
• Strong stakeholder management across internal teams, clients and vendors

Senior FIX Connectivity Specialist

A leading financial services firm is looking for a senior FIX Connectivity specialist to manage client onboarding, support and ongoing development of its electronic trading connectivity.

Experience Required

• Strong background as a FIX protocol subject matter expert within trading or investment banking


• Experience managing the full client onboarding lifecycle, from initial contact through to live setup


• Experience providing production support on electronic trading platforms


• Strong problem solving skills, able to handle bespoke client requirements


• Comfortable managing multiple onboardings and issues at oncei>
  
• Able to work autonomously as well as part of a wider team


• Strong stakeholder management across internal teams, clients and vendors

Key Technical Skills

• FIX Protocol, including certification, onboarding and message handling


• Experience with FIX engine platforms


• Python or Perl scripting for automation


• Unix / Linux environments


• Knowledge of equity trading workflows


• Agile and software development lifecycle exposure
