A leading healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated professional to join the Hepatology team, focusing on managing Fibroscan caseloads. The role entails conducting independent clinics, contributing to patient assessments, and delivering tailored dietary and lifestyle advice. The successful candidate will play an integral part in supporting patients with liver disease, benefiting from comprehensive training and support.
This role will be central to the provision of Fibroscan. The post holder will be an integral member of the Hepatology team, responsible for managing a delegated Fibroscan caseload. This includes running independent clinics, contributing to patient assessment, and providing tailored diet and lifestyle advice. Working closely with the hepatology nursing team, the post holder will support high-quality care for patients with, or at risk of, liver disease.
Fibroscan (transient elastography) is a non-invasive investigation used to measure liver stiffness. This is a key diagnostic tool for patients with or at risk of having liver disease.
