Job summary

GCU UK Ltd is seeking a Cable/Fibre Network Build Co-ordinator to support delivery of fibre network projects. You will work with field teams and clients to keep programmes on track and ensure compliant delivery.

The role focuses on planning daily works, coordinating onsite activities and maintaining robust project trackers to mitigate risks and delays. You will liaise with clients, supervise crews, and contribute to a culture of safety and quality across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in telecoms, fibre, utilities, or construction coordination.
• Strong communication, organisational, and problem‑solving skills.
• High attention to detail and confidence working with data and documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily works with gangs, supervisors, and project managers.
• Manage A55s, CEs/DFEs, and liaise with clients to resolve issues.
• Coordinate onsite activities and ensure compliance with client requirements.
• Verify crew daily measures and maintain accurate programme trackers.
• Conduct desktop surveys to identify risks or delivery challenges.
• Keep project timelines on track and ensure full, compliant job‑pack submissions.
