Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission and service fibre laser cutting systems across customer sites in the UK. You will diagnose complex mechanical, electrical and process issues and drive optimisation of performance and parameters.

The role offers a £47,500 basic salary with overtime; company vehicle and training opportunities to support career growth within a growing technology business.

Qualifications

• Experience with fibre laser cutting machinery and laser processing technologies.
• Experience in installation, commissioning, maintenance of laser systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault diagnosis across mechanical/electrical domains.
• Customer-facing engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission fibre laser cutting systems at customer sites.
• Diagnose and fault-find mechanical, electrical, and process issues.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance and breakdown support.
• Optimise machine performance and cutting parameters.
• Provide customer training and technical support.
