Job summary

Comex2000uk is seeking highly skilled FTTH engineers to install and maintain Full Fibre services on the Openreach network, delivering end-to-end telecom solutions for residential and business customers.

The role requires on-site, hands-on work, adherence to safety standards, and ability to use mobile job management apps. Certified professionals with NRSWA SLG and PIA accreditations are preferred, with additional qualifications highly desirable.

Qualifications

  • NRSWA SLG and PIA Accreditations are preferrable. Experience with both overhead and underground PIA networks.
  • Additional accreditations such as A001, S8, SA051C, SA002, SA007, S7, N022, SA020, N037, and K008 are highly desirable.
  • Strong practical knowledge of telecom networks, proficiency with power tools and basic IT skills for using mobile job management apps.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with customers, the public, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Install new telecom services by running overhead lines on utility poles, subducting protective ducts underground, all involving hands‑on, physical work.
  • Visit our customers’ homes or businesses to set up internal cabling and make sure their new services are working perfectly.
  • Network Maintenance: Work with live network infrastructures ducts and poles
  • Follow strict safety procedures, and ensure all equipment is safe to use. You’ll also help restore sites, leaving every location clean and safe for our customers.
  • Use our systems to record your work and keep information up to date in a timely manner.

Are you a highly skilled and motivated telecommunications professional looking to take on a new challenge?

We are looking forSelf Employed FTTH (Fibre to the Home) Engineers to work on the Openreach network with both residential and business customers, handling the full installation and maintenance of telecom services. You’ll work across Full Fibre networks, delivering end-to-end solutions.

  • SA001 - OH Safety

  • SA051C - Tetra
  • SA002 - UG Safety
  • SA007

Your Role and Responsibilities

This is a comprehensive, hands‑on, hands‑on, physical work, working with everything from Full Fibre networks.

Your daily tasks will include:

Network Build-outs : Install new telecom services by running overhead lines on utility poles, subducting protective ducts underground, all involving hands‑on, physical work.

Customer installations : Visit our customers’ homes or businesses to set up internal cabling and make sure their new services are working perfectly.

  • Network Maintenance: Work with live network infrastructures ducts and poles

Quality & Safety: Follow strict safety procedures, and ensure all equipment is safe to use. You’ll also help restore sites, leaving every location clean and safe for our customers.

What We're LookingFor
