Job summary

Comex 2000 UK Ltd. seeks self-employed FTTH engineers to work on the Openreach network, handling installation and maintenance for residential and business customers. You will operate across full fibre networks to deliver end-to-end telecom services.

Required are in-date CIS-related certifications with experience across overhead and underground PIA networks. Strong tool handling and mobile app use are essential for reporting and job management.

Qualifications

• NRSWASLG and PIA accreditations are preferable.
• Experience with overhead and underground PIA networks is required.
• Additional accreditations such as A001, S8, SA051C, SA002, SA007, S7, N022, SA020, N037 and K008 are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Network Build-outs: install telecom services by running overhead lines and subducting ducts, both above and below ground.
• Customer installations: visit homes/businesses to set up internal cabling and ensure services work.
• Network Maintenance: work with live network infrastructures—ducts and poles.
• Quality & Safety: follow safety procedures and ensure equipment is safe, leaving sites clean and safe.
• Reporting & Admin: use systems to record work and keep information up to date.

We are looking forSelf Employed FTTH (Fibre to theHome) Engineers to work on the Openreach network with both residential andbusiness customers, handling the full installation and maintenance of telecomservices. You’ll work across Full Fibre networks, delivering end-to-endsolutions.

About you

• Qualifications:NRSWASLG and PIA Accreditations are preferable. You must have experience withboth overhead and underground PIA networks. Additional accreditations suchas A001, S8, SA051C, SA002, SA007, S7, N022, SA020, N037, and K008 arehighly desirable.
  
• TechnicalSkills:Strong practical knowledge of telecom networks,proficiency with power tools and basic IT skills for using mobile jobmanagement apps.
  
• Communication& Customer Care:Excellent communication skills and aprofessional approach when dealing with customers, the public, andstakeholders.

Payments under CIS:
Tax will be deducted from your pay before you receive it, and the contractorwill pay this directly to HMRC on your behalf.
