Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Fibre and Backhaul Network Consultant in London. You will plan, build, launch and operate networks, driving automation and AI-driven operations across CSPs and technology clients.

The role emphasizes cross‑team collaboration, global delivery, and high-impact network transformations. You will contribute to design, deployment, and optimization of fixed and transport networks, working with senior stakeholders and leveraging eTOM/TM Forum frameworks.

Qualifications

• Experience with fiber/copper/cable networks
• Familiarity with transport architectures (SDH, MPLS, IP, DWDM)
• Awareness of ITU-T, IEEE, MEF, TM Forum standards
• Knowledge of AI and automation in fixed networks
• Experience in end-to-end program management
• Ability to design and deploy fixed/transport networks
• Experience in network deployment planning and analytics
• Strong consulting and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Plan, build, launch and operate network and platforms to streamline operations, minimize time to market, and reduce costs
• Understand the design and implementation of service-provider processes
• Evaluate processes and technologies to optimise network planning, set-up and deployment
• Work across teams and geographies
• Manage client relationships at senior stakeholder levels
• Lead change management for network construction processes
• Plan the passive infrastructure build for the Wide Area Network
• Monitor and report on technical and commercial performance
• Use automation and autonomous operations to reduce CAPEX/OPEX, including headcount
