Job summary
Cheshire East Council is seeking a Clinical Supervisor for the Functional Family Therapy Child Welfare (FFT-CW) team. You will lead a team of therapists delivering intensive, evidence-based support to children aged 0-9 and their families.
The role combines clinical leadership with safeguarding oversight and collaboration across Children’s Services to reduce care entry. You will receive comprehensive FFT-CW training, ongoing supervision, and opportunities to develop systemic practice skills
Qualifications
- Strong safeguarding expertise and leadership skills.
- Experience supervising and developing practitioners.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed, strengths-based, and systemic family work.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to FFT-CW practitioners.
- Oversee complex cases, risk management, and safeguarding practice.
- Support staff through coaching and performance management.
- Collaborate with social care, family help, and multi-agency partners.
- Lead service quality, outcomes monitoring and continuous improvement.
